beerlineX
beerlineX is a 32’ tall sign at the southeast end of the artery. This wayfinding signage became a landmark for the planned extension of the Beerline Trail just north of Keefe and Richards, and installed just prior to Jeremy Nowak of ArtPlace’s visit and press conference at the artery. The sign was made from several modified burlap sacks which were cut, stained, sewn, sealed, and mounted on adjacent timber posts. The sign reads B - E - E - R - L - I - N - E, from top to bottom, with the logo for the Harambee community as the X at the bottom.
