beeBque
beeBques are monthly social gatherings for neighbors of the artery and partners to gather and share a community meal. beintween has hosted this potluck styled event on Sunday afternoons four times per summer season since its inception in 2013. Since its inception, the event has alternated sites one a month-to-month basis from the southeast end of the artery (Keefe and Ricahards) to the northwest end atop the Capitol overpass (3rd and Capitol Place). Moving forward, beeBques will be located at the northwest end of the artery, known as the eatery, at a 94’ long community table, with 22 benches providing capacity for up seating added for up to 110 people. All are welcome and encouraged to bring a dish to pass, something to cook, or drinks to share.
